Ponvory (ponesimod)

General Description:
Ponvory (ponesimod) is an oral, once-daily prescription medication used for the treatment of active relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), including clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease.

Ponvory is a selective sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P1) receptor modulator that works by reducing the migration of lymphocytes from lymph nodes into the central nervous system. This helps limit inflammation and prevent damage to nerve cells, effectively controlling MS disease activity and reducing relapses.
